The Andrew George De Grado Foundation, Inc., a nonprofit 501 (c) (3) tax-exempt organization, established in 1998, has always regarded PTSA as our “sister” organization, although we have no formal or legal connections.  Also, PTSA is not a tax-exempt organization and cannot receive tax-deductible contributions.

In 2005, our organizations worked side-by-side, in cooperation with each other to sponsor the “Hurricane Relief Concerts.” The Andrew George De Grado Foundation, Inc. received tax-deductible donations and sent the net proceeds to the American Red Cross for the Hurricane Katrina Relief Fund.

PTSA’s Co-Directors, Gustave and Carol Ferri, are also active Board of Trustees members of the Andrew George De Grado Foundation, Inc.  Through the years, they have unselfishly continued to volunteer their expertise and assistance to the Foundation. Their cooperation has enabled us to expand our efforts in presenting new and exciting competitions.
